Victoria Secret Undies

My daughter kindly and generously gives me all the Victoria Secret underwear I need.  I've really liked them until now.

The one on the right is the older one that they used to sell.  Notice the leg holes are smaller?  These were perfect!

The one on the left is what Tiffany bought me last year.  The leg holes are so big the fabric tends to ummmm... (I apologize to my guy readers.) slip into your butt crack.  I'm constantly having to adjust them.

Annoying.

Art said perhaps they're meant for younger women?  Maybe their butts are different?  Hunh?  Did my butt fall? Shrink? Well... I suppose so.

Well, I certainly don't want to let my 5 year old granddaughter know that I'm having difficulty with these undies because she selected these just for me.

I guess she couldn't find any underwear with Hello Kitty on them.  I'll have to avoid wearing them with white shorts.

Do you have a favorite underwear brand?

  1. Now I've seen it all! Or, as my children would say, TMI (Too Much Information). LOL

  3. I wear Jockey bikini undies, and I don't know what I would do if they changed them at all. I have worn them forever. Those old ones look quite different in cut from the new ones, Kay. I wonder if they still have the others but call them by a different name. :-)

  4. they do look different, I think one must be what they all hi cut.I buy high cut undies, sometimes called French cut, (bigger leg hole, cut higher) they are made for women with a fuller top of the leg and backside. All my extra poundage is on my cabboose and legs so they fit me great.I think the ones KC chose are very pretty, I love purple,

  5. That's what my gf likes to wear though the price is higher than most places. I just buy whatever brand is cheapest for me. Which is usually fruit of the loom boxer-breifs.

  7. I always buy Hanes briefs at Kmart. The leg holes are small and the underwear is very comfortable.

  8. I love the things you find to blog about, you so often make me smile. I'm a Marks and Spencerr girl, always have been, and I stick to white or black for all of my underwear, then it's easy. Has M £ S reached Hawaii yet?

    1. I don't think we have M&S yet. Then again, I'm not sure. Sounds like Jockey and Hanes are the briefs to buy. I'll be checking those out next.

  9. Me. Non cotton. Have you gone in and tried different styles again. Yes, these are for the young kids. Yes, we do have less in the rear. :)

  10. Wedgie underwear. Ugh. I used to wear breefs, but since weight loss I have had to replace everything. Some high cuts work and some don't. I think I have Vanity Fair. I really don't pay much attention to brands. But I know they are not Victoria Secret. I hate their TV adds.

  12. After many bad experiences I don't go for brands. I see the style and if the material is good ,buy it.

  13. Okay Kay, my first thought was that you REALLY need a vacation!
You didn't ask us what we wear, but I like cotton Vanity Fair, plain, regular, non-exciting skivvies. As a nurse, moving patients with one knee in the bed to move a patient from across the bed from a guerney into the bed keeps me from wanting wedgies.
After reading others' comments, like your HP monitor, I think you should contact Victoria's Secret for an explanation and samples, and corrective non-wedgie skivvies. You are in dandy shape, so I don't think it's a butt-change situation.
So, what does Art wear? When I went shopping for a new great-niece, I noticed that baby boys now have little baby boxer shorts in size 6 to 12 month size! What trends!
Now, really think about your need for a vacation.... Aloha, DrumMajor

    1. Too funny! As a matter of fact, Art has been looking at travel magazines and I'm seeing his eyes glaze over. I've also caught him looking at travel sites. Hmmmm....

  14. Why don't they make modified boxer shorts for women?

When I was little my mother would call the problem you describe as "Injun pants ('cause they creep up on you from behind)."

    1. Marks and Spencer in the UK have been making boxer shorts for women for some time now. I don't think I'm the right shape though.

  15. Ha ha you never fail to make me smile Kay. As des Granny annie's comments. Love KC's colour choice! It is so hard because it is not like you can try on underwear before you purchase. I am not loyal to one brand and change them all the time. I go for comfort over look though these days.
