Bills are paid. Holiday cards we received are scanned into the computer. Thank you cards are written.
Art is working on cleaning the windows which are very dirty.
I remember asking our contractor how easy it would be to clean the windows. He answered, "Who cleans the windows in Hawaii anyway?"
Ummm... we try to... at least once a year anyway. They get very grimy with the salt air and dust.
I've cleaned the bathroom, dusted and will now focus on organizing my hard copy and computer files and saving important ones onto an external drive.
Looks like I'll be up until the New Year.
Ah well... what the heck!
Happy New Year, everybody! We wish you happiness, success, love and especially good health in the coming year and beyond.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to your beautiful family. I love your posts and think of you as part of my everyday life! :-)
ReplyDeletemy windows look clear, but a closer look really shows all the gunk and dirt over the years

Happy New Year to you, Art, your mother, and your brother! Not to mention the younger generation here in Hawaii and on the mainland!
ReplyDeleteI thought of you today as I was cleaning the bathroom-thanks for the inspiration...lol!
ReplyDeleteI was lamenting how cold I was last night, bundled up in my sweater, wishing for warmer temps. I mentioned to Terry that you all are always in flip flops, shorts and tshirts. Wouldn't it be nice to live in Hawaii? He didn't agree. "Its too expensive." Drawbacks everywhere. And now I find that even in Hawaii one must wash windows!
ReplyDeleteLooks like things will be clean and tidy around your house! Happy New Year to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteWe are not all that fastidious, but we do clean all our windows on the outside at least twice a year and the ones in front even more. The sills get full of insexts and salt and diesel grime. Terry is cleaning out the attic now, and it is a huge job.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to be organized for the New Year, isn't it. A good custom!
A very happy and healthy happy 2013 to you and Art. We cleaned and organised in time for Christmas, though I must admit the windows take a bit of a back seat until the sun shines and shows us how dirty they are. My thank you cards were all written yesterday, so New Year's Day is going to be a sewing day for me.
