Ergonomic Keyboard

A couple of years ago, our son-in-law and daughter found a wonderful sale on a wireless ergonomic keyboard and mouse at Best Buy and got Art to buy it for me when they were in Hawaii.  At first, the odd wavy shape of the keyboard turned me off and I didn't want to use it with my computer.  I felt what I had was fine.  Then I tried it... and I was  hooked!

Our new Dell computer has a flat keyboard and I just don't like it.  The mouse is also sort of sticky when it's moving the cursor around.  It just doesn't feel as easily maneuverable.

We decided to get another Logitech wireless ergonomic keyboard and mouse.  It was selling for about $63.00 with free Super Saver shipping on Amazon a few evenings ago.  It was too good to pass up.  The next morning Art was ready to buy and found to his surprise that it had gone down to $53.99!  Good grief!  Woo hoo!

Oh wait.  I saw that it's on sale at Best Buy now for $63.00!  Wow!  But it's still cheaper on Amazon.

  2. I am so used to a regular keyboard, having used one all my life, I don't seem to have any need for an ergonomic one. Does it make a real difference? That's a cheap price, but I'll keep on using my regular keyboards. Is it for carpal tunnel?

    1. Gosh... I don't know for sure DJan, but I do know it's a lot more comfortable for me to use. It's hard for me to revert to using the standard keyboard.

  4. I have a non-ergonomic Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse at my kitchen computer. It's great, because when we entertain big groups I can put them away in the cabinet and the desk turns into the dessert station.

    1. It does take a bit of getting used to, but once you're hooked, it's hard to go back.

  7. I rarely need to type...lol Otherwise I would definitely go the ergonomic route. I love wireless (no wires!!) and can't do without a wireless mouse for my laptop. Husband still uses the mouse pad on his laptop because he doesn't want to sit at a desk when surfing the net. Can't imagine how we managed life without the computer.

    1. No kidding. I can hardly believe I resisted using the computer for even a day. My principal had to get me started.

  8. I have a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse, but not ergonomic. I don't even know what that means. Lol. I am satisfied with what I have.

  9. I have the wireless Logitech mouse but not the keyboard. I love the mouse. Someday perhaps I'll get the ergonomic keyboard.

  11. I have a wireless mouse for this laptop that I am using right now. I haven't tried an ergo keyboard. I don't touch type anyway, but hunt and peck, mostly. typing was something I never mastered. I have gotten very used to the keyboard of my 14 inch laptop during our travels, so now my desk top feels strange.
