Holiday Mailbox

Tiffany was a little amazed that we still had not replaced our rusted mailbox. She thinks the neighbors will be wondering about us soon.

Therefore, she came up with an idea to at least cover up the rust for a while.

Tinsel garland! KC loves helping with any project that her mommy comes up with.

Tif knows how hard it is for us to make up our minds about buying anything.

As if the garland was not enough, she decided to add these little reindeer.

I've caught a glimpse of a few blogs with gorgeous photos of their home holiday decorations. Sigh...

I thought this might give you a little chuckle.

Hmmm... perhaps the new mailbox will be part of our New Year's Resolutions. Then again, Art might like the garland idea so much that he'll keep it up until Tif and family return next year. Don't put it past him.

  1. That's one well-dressed mailbox now Kay. I'm sure our neighbors are wondering why we don't set ours straight. It is leaning over at an angle. All we have to do is tighten the screws but we've been a bit slow doing that. A New Year's Resolution for us?

  5. Why doesn't it have a house number? lol.

I think we are on our 3rd mailbox since we moved here 19 years ago. We hired THE MAILBOX MAN to install the pole and box. He did a great job. Now the pole doesn't shake when we open the box.

However, the screws are beginning to rust, so eventually, we'll replace the box.
