The day we left Illinois, KC came down with a temperature of 102 degrees. This morning she vomited. However, she seems perfectly fine when we've seen her on Skype.On the day we got back to Hawaii I had a little headache. It's been lingering and I wondered if it could have been due to the fall I took while in Illinois. Then last night Art said he wasn't feeling up to running this morning. Wow! He must be sick!
Now I'm feeling awfully tired, too, and my throat is scratchy as well. Doggone it! I'm going to go to bed early (sort of) tonight. On one side it really is inconvenient to be sick. On the other hand, my headache is probably from the cold so my brain might be OK after all.
Well... OK as it'll ever be, I guess.

ReplyDeleteOn the morning that I had to fly away from Australia, after helping care for my first grandson for his first year, I came down with chills and fever and weakness that put me in bed for something like a week, unable to move.
Had to get a doctor's letter to postpone the flight, had to pay a lot to extend my visa.
I think this parting from our kids does bad things to our immune system.
A couple of Advil and water might help. That always helps me when I have a headache and feel ill.

ReplyDeleteHeadaches always scare me; I end up convinced I have brain cancer when too often it's just fatigue or something. Falls worry me too -- but surely after all this time you needn't worry at all (that's my guess anyhow!)
