KC was having such a fantastic time with everyone at her house. She figured they were all there to play with her. We were also having one of her favorite dishes, PIZZA!
After dinner was done, KC came scurrying through saying, "I have to go potty."
A few minutes later she came down with Tif jumping up and down ecstatically squealing, "I poopied! I poopied! I poopied, Grandma!" All the neighbors clapped enthusiastically for her and she pretty much got a standing ovation! Then she was hopping all over the place, pleased as punch at her momentous accomplishment. Never was going to the bathroom and doing #2 (for the first time) a reason for such unrestrained joy.
I imagine many years from now, KC will not appreciate everybody remembering this evening for her pooping, but for us.... Yae!!!
Yea, for sure! KC must've felt as if she'd conquered Mt. Everest. What a nice evening you all had, in more ways than one. I'm sure you're former neighbors miss you much but love having Tiffany and her family as their new neighbors.
ReplyDeletewhat an accomplishment...not to be forgotten as you have blogged about it...lol! Sounds like a fun reunion party.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Love it - it's right up there with the 'naked baby on a sheepskin rug' photos. Bless her!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny. You've had an amazing time with your children. How exciting.
ReplyDeleteThis definitely started my day off with a smile and a giggle! I love it! What a fun night and KC really helped top it off! I'm so glad you're all having such a great time! Have fun week!

No wonder you don't post pics of KC from the front. Ten years from now, when she enters her teens, she'll be so embarrassed. LOL. Ah well, that was an accomplishment to be proud of.
ReplyDeleteSo what kind of and how many pizzas did you buy? I am thinking of throwing a pizza party when my inlaws come from Boston this summer. How does Chicago pizza compare to Pizza Hut in Hawaii? I love pan pizza supreme!
That is wonderful! Such a big step for such a little girl. I'll be glad when my grandson gets the hang of it. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean about the modern contemporary decor...very nice, young and different!
ReplyDeleteFantastic about KC.
What fun all around. Lost too. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect title for the post! ROFL
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't give for a poopy in the potty ... not happening here!
LOL!
ReplyDeleteMazal tov, KC!
Sounds like you had a lovely pizza party and hooray for KC!!
ReplyDeleteYea for KC! And for Gramma for training her! How wonderful that you have stayed so close to your neighbors and now they will be neighbors to Tiffany and family.
