Last LOST!

I thought the Lost finale was going to be on Tuesday but we learned when we returned from New Mexico that it would be this Sunday! TOMORROW! Thank goodness we don't have anything scheduled on Sunday evening because we'll be planted in front of the TV waiting to see all the questions answered.

I'm still a teeny bit miffed that pretty much all the minorities were killed off, etc. one way or the other. I guess I just felt so sad that Jin and Sun had to die. Most people know I don't like sad endings and it's not looking very upbeat so far with only the one episode to go.

I was wondering who would end up with Kate. I guess it won't be Jack since he's now the island protector. And what's with that series of numbers? And if everybody dies on the island, what happens to the sideways stories? And why did Hurley help Desmond? Why would Jacob stay with the woman who was supposed to have killed his real mother? Is it really about Good and Evil or Good and Misunderstood?

For those who didn't get sucked into the series or left when it got so convoluted I know this makes no sense. Heck! It doesn't make sense to me, too. I suppose we first got interested in the series because it's filmed in Hawaii and we recognize so many of the places. Our neighbor even works (worked) on the set but he couldn't reveal anything. It was fun to see his Lost t-shirts hanging out on the clothes line.

I'm glad to see that another series will be filmed in Hawaii. An updated Hawaii 5-0! We used to laugh to see Jack Lord always driving around on the show in a suit. Puhlease... Nobody wears a suit in Hawaii unless they're in a wedding party or at a funeral.

I won't get sucked into watching this series. Unless my neighbor gets a job with them, too.

  2. I've been following Lost ever since it started, maybe missing an episodes here and there, but basically have been a big fan all along. You can go to www.hulu.com and catch up on shows that you've missed by the way. And they also have movies on there. Anyhow, to get back to Lost, I'm hoping that 'something' will bring back Jin and Sun. Keeping my fingers crossed here. They were two of my favorite characters and when I saw that submarine episode I was really upset. I have divested a lot of time and energy into all those characters I guess you could say :) Two hour episode on Sunday and I am not going anywhere!!! I am also keeping my fingers crossed that they have a decent ending.

  3. Sorry, I am not a LOST fan. In fact, the only things I watch on TV these days are sports and the news.

  6. Well I'm lost -- I haven't had a tv for years so have never seen Lost.

I don't like unhappy endings either! But now I'll be thinking of you Sunday night when it's on. I hope it's a good final episode!

  9. I was surprised that you follow Lost, until you explained the Hawaii connection. That's one I avoided from the start. Looked like far too much agony for me.

  10. Fortunately I never was interested in Lost but cannot wait for a new Hawaii 5-0! I used to watch that show as a young child and there began my fascination with Hawaii!
