Mommy and Daddy are Back!

Mommy and Daddy came back tonight. Art went to pick them up at Midway Airport (Chicago) and brought them home. KC took it all in stride. She just figured that was the longest (3 days) shopping trip Mommy ever went on. We sure did enjoy spending quality time with her and really hearing her communicate.

Tomorrow, we were planning to take a road trip down south to visit Peggy of Musings of Meggie but there's a snow storm brewing and we're not sure yet if we'll be able to do it. Ah well, this is the Midwest. If we can't tomorrow, we'll try again on Thursday.

  1. I've enjoyed getting to watch you watch KC over the past few days. There is a storm coming. We are expecting another 6-8 inches of snow...YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Glad they're back safe and sound and that you had such a nice visit with the baby. Be very careful getting out. We're in the midst of the snow-sleet-rain-mess right now and it is heading your way.

  11. What a little cutie she is!!! Looks like everyone had a good time too. Sorry to be visiting so late, but I'm doing what I can to catch up ... skipping Ruby Tuesday even. Thanks for visiting Happily Retired Gal.
    Hugs and blessings,

  12. Isn't that the greatest that KC did so well with her parents being away, but of course having her doting grandparents with her eased the separation. Wonderful that your daughter and son-in-law could have some "couple time" as well. Are you tired from the past few days?

  13. Glad they made it there and back safely. This is a great picture of their return, is KC going to Daddy first? Or had she already greeted Mommie by the time the picture was shapped? Ummm...just wondering.
