Sky Watch Friday: Christmas in Hawaii

It's our first Christmas in Hawaii after 35 years of celebrating the holidays with our children and neighbors in Illinois. It's certainly different.

We just talked to our daughter with Skype and webcam and could see the snow piling up in the backyard in the midwest. As you can see my husband is going jogging and doesn't need his snowboots. It's not snowing but it was drizzling a tiny bit. It's different.

For more incredible skies around the world, join us at Sky Watch Friday!

  5. Sounds like a good change of pace, but great timing too: you missed the biggest, whitest, and deepest white Christmas in recent memory. Not bad to be in shorts.

  10. Trying to get back into my reading routine. 1st thing I noticed was that your blog had dropped off my feeds list. All fixed. No jogging here either. Just watching the little skid steer plows at work on the driveways & what little sidewalk we have.

Will be updating my blog links/favorite blog list this week(finally) and will add yours. Sorry for the delay:)

    Nice looking family.

  15. Hi, Kay! Merry Christmas! It's too bad your children could not join you at your party. It's nice to be with your mom, though.

I definitely don't miss the snow in New York, where I lived for 5-1/2 years! Hawaii no ka oi.

  16. Snow is good sometimes, especially on Christmas morning... actually, the first snow and Christmas morning snow are the only two I like. LOL.

Happy sunny skies and days ahead to you.
