Peace and Tolerance on Earth: Margaret and Helen

I just read something on Margaret and Helen's blog that I thought was so important I had to post a link to it today. I feel very strongly about this. Tolerance, understanding, acceptance, friendship. We need this. Helen uses some pretty salty language on some of her posts which some people might not care for but makes me chuckle everytime I read it.

  3. I found Helen's post on target this morning too and it's certainly worth letting others know about. Perhaps I'll add a link as well when I finally get around to publishing something today.
    Hugs and blessings,

  5. Sorry, I am surprised. One of their posts I read called Sarah Palin a bitch--several times. That didn't seem to show much tolerance or acceptance. I don't mind occasional salty language, but I do expect that people practice what they preach.

  6. Jo's comment is interesting. I didn't read back that far on Margaretandhelen, but I do prefer reading those who can articulate without name calling. Nevertheless, I loved the last two postings about the supposed "war on Christmas" and agree completely that we should all just be able to decide our own "reason for the season". It was the theme of my Christmas letter!

  7. Sorry, Jo. I do agree that some of the language is not polite or tolerant. However, I agree wholeheartedly with their overall message that they are trying to convey.

  9. Even though the language is "salty" on their blog, they seem to get their message across. I have to have my daily "fix" of Margaret and Helen, the're alwas an eye-opener.
