KC has been watching her great grandma and trying to imitate her. When Tif and KC visited a year ago, KC was frightened of her great grandma. Now, at 19 months, she follows her around the house and tries to help. She especially likes to sweep the house and pick up stray leaves and weeds from the garden. Great Grandma is absolutely delighted!

ReplyDeleteHi Kay! This is very heart-warming and brought a smile to my face. Great-Grandma looks so please and proud of her great-granddaughter. Lovely family. Lisa
ReplyDeleteWhat a tender photo! Kids and older folks seem to be such a good fit. They both like to "putter" and aren't concerned with schedules. I hope you got that four generation photo!! You are so blessed to have time with the four generations of women together. What a priceless gift!
ReplyDeleteIt is very fun to see. I'm sure great grandma is thrilled and she will miss KC when she and her mom have to go home (as you will too). It is so nice that they have this time together.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your mom is very happy to have you back again, and her grandchild-she's the icing on the cake...but the great-grandchild...well, it doesn't get any better than that!!
ReplyDeleteThose photos are so sweet. 4 generations of women (including KC) in one house AND you all get along.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute pictures of KC helping her great grandma, Kay. These are special times in their lives, and yours.

ReplyDeleteGrandchildren are such a wonderful blessing and I love the happiness they bring,in their enchanting ways, to all members of the family. Your little KC looks so very, very sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou're so blessed to have such a helpful daughter! Its not the first time shes helping about. Shes one special kid!
ReplyDeleteHow lucky they are to have each other. I still remember visiting my great grandmother in Ohio in the 1950s. She made French toast for us and cut mine up in cubes for me. She was 101.
