The day before we left Illinois for Hawaii, we were packing up our van and the neighbors all came out to say goodbye. As we stood there chatting, we noticed a sky writer. It spelled out SKY MAIL.COM. We weren't sure at first because it was upside down so it was rather funny to see us all turning our heads upside down to see it being spelled out.

I'll be whoever hired that pilot wasn't very happy with his work...although it did the job of making people look.
ReplyDeleteFun picture.
What a great capture you got there, wonder what it says
ReplyDeleteForgive my attitude if it seems harsh, but, Kay, doesn't annoy you when you supply all the info needed for your photo in your text, and the photo viewers fail to read it and therefore ask just what you already told them? Seems like they could take the 20 seconds.
ReplyDeleteGreat SWF post. I love quirky.
Interesting...
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they made it upside down.
Seeing just the first picture first, I thought it was going to be SKY WATCH written up in the sky! That would have been a major scoop for you, Kay.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen it done before either. Only because we have not enough sky to do it. LOL... too many mountains and by time they get to the third letter they bump into a pointy mountain peak... LOL.
ReplyDeleteGood picture!

ReplyDeleteHow unique! I wonder if it has to be done really fast before it starts to fade away.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he did it on purpose, to make people look. I love sky writing
ReplyDeleteI love it when I see sky writing. As long as it stays around long enough to read it that is! :)
