ReplyDeletebeautiful, that why you have a rainbow on your license plate. we saw rainbows almost every day we were in hawaii-truly a wondrous sight.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, especially the reflection!
ReplyDeleteKay, I just found your comment on my site. How exciting that your son is in the process of climbing Mt Rainier. He couldn't have more perfect weather. I have a peek-a-boo window view of the mountain right now and it is clear as clear can be.
My two kids climbed the mountain together on an August day much like this one about 7 or 8 years ago. I looked up at the mountain that day, knowing they were at the summit. What an accomplishment.
Hi Kay! Very beautiful. I don't think one ever loses excitement for rainbows. I love how the rainbow is reflected on the car. Lisa
ReplyDeleteYep, the 'Rainbow Van' is also my favorite! I think this Sky Watch Friday thing is such a fun. I like seeing pictures of the sky from so many places. I always run outside and check mine to see who we look the most like.

ReplyDeleteTell you mom I said, Hello. Your mom's name was not "Jeanie" was it? Jeanie knitted my first baby a pair of baby booties. She was a nice lady.
ReplyDeleteAll of my photos were taken between 1953 and 1956 in and around Sendai. I have a few from Sapporo, Tokyo and Yokohama.
Just a note in case you get to Sendai.
Go to:
Sendai City Museum of History and Folklore.
It is over the Hirose River close to the Sendai International Center and Tohoku University.
Love the reflection in the car.. very nice.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful rainbows! And I love the reflection on the car.
ReplyDeleteOh, just so fabulous with the double rainbow. Makes me excited too ;-) When I was a kid I always thought there would be a pot of gold coins at the end of the rainbow. Now I know better ;-)

ReplyDeleteI always am reminded of God's rainbow covenant with Noah, that he would put the bow in the clouds as a sign of his promise never to destroy the world by flood again.
